This June, join Pedal for Puppies, a virtual ride supporting The Seeing Eye®. Ride anywhere—outside, indoors, on a stationary bike, or on your Peloton. Every mile helps provide life-changing Seeing Eye dogs and supports enhanced independence for people who are blind.

🐾 The Story Behind the Ride
Pedal for Puppies is powered by Puppy Ride Long Island, founded by Jim Freiss in honor of his late brother, a Seeing Eye® graduate.
After seeing the enhanced independence his brother experienced with his Seeing Eye dog, Jim began riding to help others access that same opportunity.
What started as a local effort has steadily grown:
- 15,500+ miles ridden
- $305,000+ raised
- Hundreds of supporters engaged
This year, the team is taking on their biggest ride yet—traveling from the Pacific Northwest to the tip of Long Island, NY.

Fundraising Incentives
As you reach new milestones, you will receive special Pedal for Puppies gear:
- $250 – Seeing Eye T-shirt
- $500 – Seeing Eye hat
- $1,000 – Seeing Eye water bottle
- $2,500 – Pedal for Puppies bike jersey
- $5,000 – Name a Seeing Eye dog and receive a commemorative medal
Rewards are cumulative and will be sent after the event concludes.
