A national report card on service dog handler rights and protections.
The grades are in! Today, we released our State of Access Report Card, which grades and ranks every U.S. state, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico on how well they protect the rights of people who work with service dogs to travel independently and live without compromising their freedom.
This first-of-its-kind data-driven ranking is meant to be a resource for everyone with a stake in service dog handler rights. Whether you are a handler navigating your daily life, an advocate pushing for stronger protection, or a lawmaker with the power to close the gap this data reveals, we hope our report presents a clear picture of where your state stands, along with a roadmap for what meaningful progress looks like.
