Our Campus
The Seeing Eye is located on a 60-acre campus nestled in historic Washington Valley, in Morris Township, New Jersey, and 35 miles west of New York City. Although located in a quiet rural neighborhood, the campus is minutes away from downtown Morristown and a quick train-ride away from New York City.
While the main campus is home to the administrative offices, student residence, veterinary clinic and kennels, The Seeing Eye also has a training facility in downtown Morristown and a 330-acre breeding station in nearby Chester, N.J.
The front entrance to The Seeing Eye is flanked by two brick pillars with a swinging iron gate. The bucolic campus has a wide, rolling front lawn with trees of many varieties.

Morristown - Our Classroom
Located just outside the town limits of Morristown, The Seeing Eye has utilized the streets and businesses of this historic town as its extended classroom since moving from Nashville, Tenn., in 1931. Instructors train the dogs there daily, and most days, students train with their new dogs around the town square, known as The Green, and in surrounding neighborhoods.
Town officials and business owners alike are proud to say they are part of the training process, as dogs and teams-in-training are welcomed into stores, restaurants, the county courthouse and other public facilities, all as part of the instructional program. Just blocks away from the town center are bucolic hills and farms, so students have an opportunity to train in settings that parallel whatever surroundings they have back home.
Founded in 1715 and the site of key events in the American Revolution, Morristown is rich in history, and was named one of America’s “Dozen Distinctive Destinations” by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Visitors to Morristown can enjoy unique shops, restaurants, theaters, parks, and historic sites.
