David Hertz is the President and CEO of Sealy Mattress Company of New Jersey. He started there in 1990 in the position of Vice President/General Counsel. Mr. Hertz is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Bunker Hill Special Improvement District Board of Directors in Paterson, NJ, a Board upon which he has served since 1995. Mr. Hertz was the National Co-Chair of Annual Giving at the University of Pennsylvania Law School from 2013-2016. He holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1988) and a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester (1985). Mr. Hertz is a lifelong resident of New Jersey and resides in Saddle River with his wife, Sharyl. They have three adult children and a wonderful English Bulldog named Jackpot.
