The Honorable Thomas H. Kean served as Governor of New Jersey from 1982 through 1990 and as President of Drew University from 1990 through 2005. In 2002, he was selected to head the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States, also known as the 9/11 Commission. He then served as chairman of the 9/11 Public Discourse Project, a nonprofit entity created with private funds to continue the Commission’s work of guarding against future attacks. Governor Kean is Vice Chair of the Environmental Defense Fund and Vice Chair of the National Committee of U.S. China Relations. He also is the Chairman of Carnegie Corporation of New York.
