My First Month at The Seeing Eye

I am so fortunate to be the new President & CEO of The Seeing Eye, the pioneer and still best-known guide dog school in the world.

I love when folks have questions about how a cute, fuzzy puppy becomes an expertly trained Seeing Eye® dog like me. After all, what we do — helping someone who is blind navigate the world with enhanced confidence, freedom, independence, and mobility — is pretty pawsome, if I say so myself!

Carlos was matched with his Seeing Eye dog, Fenway, the summer he left his home in Wisconsin to study economics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
