“This dog has truly changed my life,” explained Seeing Eye graduate Kylie, who recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of being matched with her yellow Lab Seeing Eye dog, Olivia.
“This year has been filled with triumphs, fun moments, and plenty of silly ones too. Olivia is my silly, spunky, and spirited girl, and I love it! She is incredibly focused while in harness and truly loves her job. She has been by my side through everything, always wanting to be involved in whatever I am doing. One of the things I love most about her is how well she knows me—she can tell when I am sad, anxious, or happy. I just love her!”
Kylie is currently in college, studying psychology, counseling, and social work. She plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies this December. “I hope to go on to become a trauma therapist, and I know I can do anything with Olivia by my side. I cannot wait to walk the stage with her!”
