Through the efforts of one of our founders, Morris Frank, and other early graduates of our program, The Seeing Eye was instrumental in gaining access to all places of public accommodation for people traveling with guide dogs.
Today, federal, state and provincial laws guarantee the rights of people who are blind to travel freely with their guide dogs anywhere within the United States and Canada.
